Ms. Villagomez represents our clients in Immigration Court in a variety of matters, including asylum, withholding and protection under the Convention Against Torture, as well as family based petitions.
In addition to defending our clients in Immigration Court, Ms. Villagomez also helps those applying affirmatively for immigration benefits under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
Among other things, she has helped our clients apply for provisional waivers, asylum and prosecutorial discretion. Prior to joining Yacub Law Offices, Ms. Villagomez spent several years with an overseas law firm, representing corporate entities in their international investments.
She thoroughly enjoyed working with individuals and companies from all over the world. Ms. Villagomez earned her dual B.A. in Economics and Psychology from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. She later earned her Juris Doctor from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Ms. Villagomez is a native Spanish and English speaker.
