L
Lauren Truslow has helped clients obtain asylum from both the Asylum Office and in removal proceedings.

Ms. Truslow also represents clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Courts to reopen their cases so as to permit them to apply for status with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Prior to joining Yacub Law Offices, Ms. Truslow drafted and submitted applications on behalf of those applying for U.S. Citizenship and marriage-based resident applications with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Ms. Truslow earned her law degree from Regent University School of Law in 2016 and was licensed to practice in Virginia in May 2017. She speaks Spanish and English. In addition, Ms. Truslow holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law with a Spanish Language Certification from University of Maryland.

During her years in law school as an intern, Ms. Truslow assisted noncitizens who had been the victims of certain crimes in the U.S. to obtain resident-status by submitting their U-Visa applications.  She also helped noncitizens who entered the U.S. as children apply for Deferred Action and obtain their work permits.

During her undergraduate years as a paralegal, Ms. Truslow volunteered with Casa de Maryland to assist the indigent immigrant community with their legal needs, drafted and submitted family-based immigration applications, and assisted clients with removal orders to apply for relief from deportation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
