Claire McVey is an immigration lawyer who proudly enforces and protects the legal rights of her clients and their families during the immigration process.
Ms. McVey speaks Spanish fluently. Beginning at the age of six, she attended a Spanish immersion school. She understands the importance of communicating with others in their native language.
While studying law, Ms. McVey worked with an immigration firm that represented clients in removal proceedings as well as family and asylum-based petitions. Ms. McVey is licensed to practice law in Kentucky. She has also worked in a variety of legal fields including criminal, personal injury, civil matters, family law, and probate law.
She received her law degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Ms. McVey earned her B.A. in Political Science with minors in Spanish and Chinese from DePauw University.
Ms. McVey joined the Yacub Law Offices at the Brownsville, Texas branch in 2019. Ms. McVey is also proficient in Mandarin Chinese and has studied French and Italian.
