Patricia García-Fonseca is dedicated to serving her clients and understands first-hand the hurdles of the immigration process. Since her arrival to Yacub Law Offices, Ms. García has assisted clients with their business immigration needs. Additionally, Ms. García has successfully helped clients with their family-based petitions before USCIS and by representing them in Immigration Court.
Prior to joining Yacub Law Office, Ms. García gained experience in deportation defense and family-based petitions at a previous immigration law firm. In addition, she practiced as a general civil practitioner in Puerto Rico for three years. In Puerto Rico, Ms. García represented clients in the areas of immigration, bankruptcy, family, and corporate law. Lastly, Ms. Garcia has experienced the immigration process herself as the fiancé of an immigrant.
Ms. García earned her law degree magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico Law School in 2014. She is licensed to practice law in Puerto Rico. She is also admitted to practice before the Federal District Court of Puerto Rico.
Ms. Garcia is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English. Ms. Garcia is based at the Rockville, MD branch.
