Victor Legorreta is an immigration attorney who has dedicated his legal career to providing his clients with a dedicated and astute representation before their immigration proceedings. Mr. Legorreta has represented his clients before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Before joining the Yacub Law Office, Mr. Legorreta was a vital contributor in the opening briefs for the published Fourth Circuit cases of Orellana v. Barr, 925 F.3d 145 (4th Cir. 2019) and Cabrera Vasquez v. Barr, 919 F.3d 218 (4th Cir. 2019). Since then, Mr. Legorreta has gone on to successfully represent several clients in their appeals before the Fourth Circuit. In addition to his asylum work, Mr. Legorreta has represented clients in other matters such as U-Visas, Petitions for Alien Relatives, and Naturalization Applications.
Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Legorreta studied at the University of Maryland where he participated in several legal clinics. Through his clinical work Mr. Legorreta represented and assisted indigent persons and victims of domestic violence.
Mr. Legorreta is fluent in both English and Spanish.
