Simon Chona is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in May of 2022.
During law school he served as President of the Syracuse University College of Law’s Latin American Law Student Association and as a Student Attorney in the College of Law’s Elder and Health Law Clinic. While earning his Juris Doctor degree, Simon also served as a Law Clerk at Nichols Law Offices PLLC, Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Prince George's County, The Law Offices of Jose Perez P.C., and as an intern at the Southwest Detroit Immigrant and Refugee Center. Since graduating from Syracuse, Simon sat for the Maryland bar in 2022.
Originally from Potomac, Maryland, Simon obtained a B.A. in History from Michigan State University in 2017. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a GED teacher at Identity Inc., a local non-profit organization aimed as serving the Latino/a population in Montgomery County Maryland.
Himself the son of Venezuelan immigrants, Simon is committed to pursuing a career in Immigration Law.
